Materials & Process

Brandt Register products are CAD-drawn to order and precision fiber-laser cut in the United States from solid architectural sheet metal: C260 cartridge brass (unlacquered or #4 brushed satin), #4 brushed 304 stainless steel, and 1008 cold-rolled steel (raw mill finish or baked matte black powder coat). Our pieces are machined from flat heavy sheet—not sand-cast iron or thin stamped louvers.

Dimensional Accuracy & Fit Guarantee

Laser-cut outer dimensions and electrical box openings hold a tolerance of ±0.010 inch (typical kerf accuracy ±0.005"). If any piece arrives outside the dimensions recorded on your confirmed specification sheet or sustained transit damage, we cut and ship a replacement at no charge within 5 business days or refund your payment in full.

Custom-Cut Orders & Returns

Because custom grilles, radiator panels, and range backsplashes are cut to your unique 1/16-inch measurements, custom-cut items cannot be returned due to customer measurement errors once laser cutting has begun. You may modify or cancel any custom order for a 100% refund prior to production release. Standard 4-Piece Solid Metal Sample Kits ($24) may be returned within 30 days in original condition, and every sample kit includes a $24 credit toward a subsequent custom order.

Shipping & Lead Times

Insured parcel shipping is free to street addresses in all 50 US states. Unlacquered brass, satin brass, 304 stainless steel, and raw steel pieces typically ship within 4–6 business days of payment. Matte black powder-coated steel pieces typically ship within 6–8 business days.

Privacy & Contact
